Fees cover tuition but do not include textbooks (which you will need to buy for each course and are approximately £20 ) or registration for external exams (e.g. Cambridge exams, IELTS, which are approximately £90 - 120 ).
All students must take out student travel insurance to include course cancellation and should be aware if there are any health care agreements between the UK and their country of residence.
There is no refund or discount when the school is closed on a public holiday. Classes (other than one-to-one) will not be scheduled for another day. Public holidays for 2010: 1 January, 02 & 05 April, 03 & 31 May, 30 August. The school will close for the winter holiday on 20 December and will open again on 04 January 2011.

Visa refusal: the school will refund the fees (less £100 to cover administration costs + registration fees + CAS fee) on production of the refusal letter from British Embassy / Home Office. If the refusal is less than one week before the course starts and the school has arranged accommodation then the student will also be charged for one week's accommodation and the placement fee. The student will also be responsible for all bank charges if a transfer is made for the refund.
Course cancellation charges: More than 4 weeks before start of course - 25% of total course fees. 2 - 4 weeks before start of course - 50% of total course fees. Less than 2 weeks before start of course - 50% of total course fees + accommodation placement fee + one week’s accommodation fee depending on type of accommodation arranged. Please note that accommodation cancellation charges can vary depending on the type of accommodation booked. You will be informed about this at the time of booking.
The student residences are independent organisations and are not owned by Language in London. For this reason they all operate their own Terms and Conditions (including deposits). You will be informed about these conditions at the time of booking.
In all cases, a refund can only be made to a student after the school has received written confirmation of the cancellation. The school may also request that the student return original letters that may be used for obtaining visas or entering the UK.
Students may request to change group courses, depending on availability, to another group course of the same value and number of hours. Group courses cannot be exchanged once booked for one-to-one lessons.
The school reserves the right to refuse admission of any student or dismiss any student in the event of misconduct or unsatisfactory work or attendance or repeated late arrival, without refund of fees.
Students who require an attendance certificate for visa or visa extension purposes must attend a minimum of 80% of their course. It is also a legal requirement of the school to report any student who has a Tier 4 visa to the authorities if they miss 10 consecutive lessons in the school.
The school reserves the right to cancel or alter a course, if we do we will offer an alternative course or refund.
You may not take holiday on a course that is shorter than 12 weeks or during an exam course. You must give 2 weeks' notice before taking a holiday.
The school will decide the time and level of your classes after you have taken a test. Please note that in the summer there is a morning / afternoon zig zag timetable for all students.

All lessons are 60 minutes.
