IELTS Intensive
What IELTS score do you need to go university?
When do you need your IELTS result?
This is one of the most important exams you will take in your life because it is about your future.
Universities and colleges use IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
to determine the English level of non-native speakers before they begin a course. There
is no pass or fail but a scoring system from 0 - 9. Generally, students are asked to
achieve a score of 5.5 - 7.5 but this depends on the course you intend to study. It
is possible to sit the exam any week but we will need to book your place at least 4
weeks in advance.
To do well in IELTS you need to be good at General and Academic English - this is why
our courses combine both areas.
The IELTS part of the course will concentrate on the demands of academic reading and
writing as well as the speaking and listening parts of the test. Our experienced teachers
will help you to plan a self-study programme to go with the course.
